CCP TO HEAD SHARE VANCOUVER DONATION PROJECT

Clark County Plumbing & Drain is a proud member of the Southwestern Washington Community. We are thrilled to be Clark County’s partner in commercial and residential plumbing services. Recently, we have been searching for a member of the community that is in need of our services.

We are excited to announce that Share in downtown Vancouver is the recipient of our donation. Share in Vancouver is a non-profit organization that offers services to the hungry and homeless on the path to self sufficiency. By providing food, shelter, housing, education and compassion; Share Vancouver is a major advocate to those needing support.

Originally, CCP reached out to Diane McWithey, the Executive Director of Share Vancouver, in search of a candidate that could use our services. Diane introduced us to Katie Lewis, the Program Director of Share Vancouver downtown. Katie took responsibility of Share (downtown) in January and inherited a facility that needed some renovation and plumbing services.

As a non-profit organization, Share has limited capabilities to even consider renovating their own building. Clark County Plumbing & Drain has taken the project on with the help of some members in the community, as well as, some members of the Home Services Network of Southwest Washington, donating their time and service.

On Friday, June 24th, 2016, Mike Jones of CCP, Ryan Lee of Coco’s (Tile) and Chuck Lehman from Cross Home Construction went to the Share facility in order to asses the magnitude of the project. The building is home to up to eighty people at a time and over years of use, water damage has developed into structural issues. Water seeps into the cracks of the shower tiles and is unable to drain properly. The routine use of the bathroom facilities, backs up toilets, causing them to flood.

Share Vancouver needs our help. Share is the advocate for those unable to advocate for themselves. We as a community must come together in order to help one of our own! CCP is  fundraising for donations in order to complete this project!

We need your help!
